thanks. im kinda on a budget though. i just bought it so im trying to save up again. ive got 500, and i need something now, i miss my car being loud as *****!

 

You might try looking at the private Classifieds for used catbacks. Buyer beware, though, if the seller isn't located in your area.

I have a 3" Strömung dual-tip catback on my '02 WRX sedan and it's quiet enough and subtle enough in appearance that it never attracts attention from law enforcement. I did pay more than what you are looking to spend, however.
