I'm new here to I-club so any suggestions are welcome. I have been doing a lot of research on cat back exhaust systems,( my dealer says they will void my warranty if I go turbo back or remove the original third cat) , so I am limited to a cat back system. I'm just a poor teacher in wilmington nc and need to keep the warranty!!!!! I have researched all the exhausts in the WRX 12 exhaust shootout and narrowed it down to Blitz, and HKS carbon /titanium, but I have also found a scoobysport exhaust from the uk thats supposed to be excellent, has anyone had any experience with scoobysport? If so please reply, and anyone with the blitz or HKS sytem, did you loose any low end tourqe with either exhaust? All I have in the car is a K&N flat panel filter, and short throw shifter, but I really need to know which exhaust is best!!!!!!

 

I have the ProDrive Sport exhaust and I love it. The car has a nice deep rumble at idle and sounds great when in 1 & 2 but as you get up in speed say 80-90 mph it sounds good to the rear but it is not loud inside the car.

Look around and you can find one for around $350.00

Thanks for the input. I like the Blitz, but ordered both scoobysport and Blitz just for fun!!!!!!!!! Will sell for cheap which one I don't enjoy!

let me know what you think of the Scooby Sport I 've been to the site and think it sounds great and the DYNO looks good. I've been considering buying one since I fininshed my break in. But I tend to be indeciseive since I have a friend who spent alot of cash to get nowhere in his Vdub (after 5gs i can smoke him my legacy) and I came real close about 6 months ago to doing the same thing w a civic.

 

yeah I wasted a lot of money on a civic and now I do my research. the dyno charts at the scoobysport site are good and ken cole and jay are good at explaining technical stuff! They provide a lot of information on their exhaust! I'll be getting the system in mid to late January since Hayward and scott are so backed up w/ prodrive & WRC stuff. I'll let you know when I get how it works!

 

yeah i'm just a poor teacher but i work other jobs and save all my pennys, My wife is cool about it and my daughter likes loud cars that "go fast" as she would say! If you want something bad enough you find a way to make it happen

let me know first if you sell the blitz!!! i'm 99% sure that's the exhaust i'm gonna get. thought about the carbon/ti, but man! i don't think the price tag is worth it for the product. just my $.02 though!
