Can't get oil pan to seal.
%^&*@!!!
I have installed my new motor and I cannot get the oil pump to seal. I did it once before the motor was dropped in and 2 times after. Yeah, I dare ya try doing that with the motor in the car without jacking it up. Haha. I did find a nice way of doing it.
However, it just does not seal. The oil drips from the front of the motor. Right behind where the oil pick up is bolted to the bottom of the block.
What can it be?
I am out of ideas. I am tired. I am pissed. I am about to karate chop the pan.

sealer
I would use some hondabond in that spot where it leaking and also start with a new gasket. Do subarus even use a gasket for the oil pan? I know Nissans do not they use a form of honda bond. If you are using a gasket make sure you are not overtightening the bolts this can cause the gasket to squeeze out and leak.
