Im not too familiar with this system but try searching this forum and other subaru forums for this problem. I'll bump this back up to the top anyways so others can see. Seems like you're missing a connection of some kind for the exhaust to match with the OEM donut gasket. Try calling brullen to see if they screwed up. Get your money back if they didn't and get a new exhaust if possible.

I searched a little for you....

Are you sure this is supposed to be just a catback system? Maybe they screwed up and send you some parts from there turbo back system because i found these pics:

http://photos.yahoo.com/ph/jnm565/lst?.dir=/Brullen

See how the resonator pipe would connect to the cat pipe section? According to the pics (if this is your exhaust) it seems that the brullen resonator pipe fits only the brullen cat puipe section...you know what i mean? It seems that they screwed you out of a part, shipped the wrong exhaust for the wrong model car, or shipped you a different system than you requested.

I have a Brullen catback myself. You have 2 options to make it leak-proof:
1) Use 3" doughnut gasket.
2) Have a custom made flange done.
I did no. 2 option and never had any problems for over a year now.

I bought 2 new flat flanges and replaced both. I took my car to the muffler shop and had them do it. It cost me less than 50 bucks for everything.
