Hi all,
I was doing an uppipe install this weekend and I busted a small hose leading from the main air intake tubing.
Most likely snapped when I jacked up the engine to clear the uppipe studs. Maybe jacked it up to high....Could have broken when I was losening the turbo brackets to get the new uppipe aligned.
Tried to find a part # for it but I was unsuccessful, the part websites are hard to navigate.
Can anyone give me a hand identifying this part? It is a small diameter hose that leads from the air intake tubing after the second hose clamp. It leads to the other sensors in the housing on the passenger side shock tower.
See attached picture.
Any clue what this does?
I hope this won't be a PITA to change out.
I still haven't finished the install, it has proved to be difficult for me. My car currently sits on jackstands without the new uppipe installed. It was just my luck that my torque wrench died when i tried to install the new pipe. Sears is giving me a hard time trying to exchange it for a new one.
I wont drive till I fix this.
Thanks for any help in advance.
