ive been considering getting a bov and was wondering if aftermarket bov make that psshhh sound at all rpms or only after certain rpms (say 3k). im asking cause in case i ever have a cop next to me i wonder if shifting at lower rpms would allow me to mask that bov sound.

 

It wont make any sound unless youre building boost.

 

so basically would it be possible to drive shifting at around 2500rpm and not make the sound?

 

bov sound depends on how much your boosting, not rpm. but its typically the higher rpm the higher the boost.
yea its possible to shift at 2500 rpm without making the sound.

You could shift at 7k and still not make any noise (the bov at least).
