BOV question

I have had an aftermarket BOV on my car for about 25k miles, and to me it is not working correctly or it is worn out. Is that possible it seems it have to reach a higher rpm than when it was new for it to release air. Am I just imagining this or is that the case. Mine is made by "Forge" is there any other brands that may be louder than mine. Thanks

Try Turbo XS. The H-RFL is really loud. It screams on WRX's. They're reliable too. If something's gummed up in your valve, it won't pull as easily. You didn't tighten the boost setting spring, did you? You can check out some of the other Japanese models like the HKS SSQ. It won't make you go deaf as easily, but it does sound good and you'll hear it far away. Very distinguished sound and as musical as a BOV can get.

...if there is any thing like dirt that could be causing it to be slower responding (like Makohardie stated ^above) I am not to sure above forge valves but I thought thy were good stuff...I have only had TurboXS's BOV's on my car, never had any issues with either of them, I am using the RFL now for about 10,000 miles, and she's a screamer...Def something to scare the scat out of folks standing at the bus stop! FUN
