so i wuz talkn to my friend who drives an s4 and i ask him what kind of bov he uses and he said that he refused to use one cuz he read on his s4 forums that bov are bad for the car?

i dont understand

A search here or on NASIOC would turn up this info. A BOV on a stock WRX is mainly bling. A BOV may have a practical use when upgrading to a larger turbo as some have speculated that the factory compressor bypass valve will not function properly at higher boost levels (18+ lbs).

The information on disturbing the air/fuel ratio may not apply to cars that meter the fuel differently, i.e. non-factory computer-controlled cars.
