has anyone just disconnected their recuirculation valve from the hose that exits back into the intake? if you have y does the car run like crap and how can you fix it? please help

My car stumbled with a 100% atmo. bov. but the one thing I will ask did you at least completely block off the recuirculation hose? Or did you just disconnect it? Cause then you would now just have an extra opening in your intake which I can not imagine it helping your computer to figure out how much air is in your system.

*I would spent the money and try a 50/50 and if I was broke keep the stock one as is*
