Bov ?
I've had the HKS ssqv bov before and my idle was fine. The only problem with it was that it (like all 100% atmospheric bov) made my car rich during shifts. I usually spit a grip of smoke out when going from a full 3rd to 4th shift at full boost.
But i sold mine...cause it was a bit tooo blingy for me and I don't want all the attention that the little chirper gives.
I'd say to invest in a GFB hybrid 50/50 bov or some type of recirculation one.
My 60 cents

I say don't get one at all. Scc did an article a while back on cbv vs bov. They recorded data on vent velocity and stability. And unless you plan on running very high boost. You'll be paying for a noisemaker. The stock cbv vents just as well and just as smooth as any brand name bov. Plus like afore mentioned they will make your car run rich. If you insist on buying one though. Blitz makes a good unit and there happens to be one for sale in the fs by members forum.

as navwrx said....the stock is the best.
but i sold my HKS and put back on the stock...because i don't want all the attention and want go-fast parts. A plus is that if i cop asks to see under my hood.....its allllll stock baby

Yes the silencer removal gives off a slightly more aggressive tone. But when you combine that with a catless up and downpipe and any good catback exhaust. You get a very unique sound only a boxer produces. You hear a lot of turbo whine, even from a stock turbo, and people know that's one fast *** ride. You don't need a bov to get people to turn heads.
