Borla HUSH

Anyone running the borla twin tip hush exhaust? Im curious in the power gains\loses. What about over all tone?
If its all tone and no performance benefit then I will probably just get a someones STI exhaust off ebay that they swapped for a fart can.

Edit:
Now that I have thought about it will the STI exhaust from the cat back fit on the 04 WRX wagon? Sorry for the n00b question.

hey, I am running the Borla Hush exhaust. I like it very much, its not to loud, but it still rubles, "NOT LIKE A RICE". You gain power because its a full 3'' and it looks sweet as hell............if you like an exhaust thats kinda quit, but still rumbles, go for it. I actually think its quieter than a stock SRT4 if u ever heard one........
troy

also, there is no weldin involved, its a bolt on and it takes about an hour, if you have the right tools needed, i think it fits perfectly

We have been selling a lot of these locally due to the police getting very hot on the aftermarket stuff.

We have yet to dyno test this system but have installed a fair few and everyone agrees that this system gives the performance of a 3" system without the look at me loudness.

If anyone wants to buy one and do a before and after test on the dyno we would be happy to give them a unit at cost.

I've done a search and from what I read is it still true that with a 3 inch exhasut you lose some power? I read that a lot of ppl prefer the 2.5 inch, what do you guys think becasue I'm willing to take the Borla at cost and get it dynoed, plus my car is stock except for a stealth intake, so I think it would be good baseline info.

Wrxneffect - Ok lets set it up, you'll get a free dyno as well . Please PM us your number.

If anyone needs the Borla system we have 20 of them arriving tomorrow.

aznfoos - Yes the Borla unit is designed to use the stock doughnot gasket and thus crimps in about 3/4", we are going to be offering them straight through with a 3" flange though if prefered.
