Boost Surge??

Boost Surge??
So I'm driving along today, and I notice as I accelerate that around 3 or 4k I get this feeling like my turbo is Boosting then not... Also I'm not getting full boost.
I already tried reloading my map (I just replaced my Battery and thought that that might have had something to do with it. (nope)
What just happened. I wasn't doing this before today IIRC.
Also when I star the car it reads negative boost.. like somewhere in the -.7 range on the old Subaru boost guage.
Oh yeah here are my mods.

my car does it too. is your downpipe catless? you might need to port your wastegate port or get a catted downpipe.

Hey I had the same problem with my stocker running an apv2 supporting mods up/dp with hiflow cat, TBE, larger tmic, and I had the K&N typhoon on there. the car would surge in 4th and 5th gear at WOT. sorry for all the acronyms. Anywhoo when cobb says dont use any other intake they mean it. I put the stock airbox back on and it runs better now.
