Boost Fluctuation. HELP NEEDED

Alright guys so im on a ots map from v1 cobb stage 2 tuned. car is fully stock except turboback of course... 16psi is my target boost and i noticed my boost spikes up to 18-20 psis and then falls down to 11-14 psis and then bak up, basically bouncing back and forth from 14-18 psis all the way through redline. I checked my OEM boost solenoid and it seems fine. Plugging in the battery from the car and making sure it opens and closes, i also cleaned it with maf cleaner. Any help guys? Would u guess that the wastegate has too much load causing boost spike? should i try using a stage 2 "low wastegate map"

thanks i-club!

yep. I had another question, so the "T" connector for my turbo hoses broke, and I replaced it with a "Y" connector, would that matter as well?

Nope doesn't matter as long as inner diameter is the same.

I had same issue first time i went stage 2 Cobb map had same symptoms bought a used 05+ ebcs worked fine then return to stock for smog and same issue all over again,I finally just picked up a hallman pro rx mbc and went open source have been working great ever since. The ebcs will sound fine when in test mode and will work fine at stock levels but def recommend to upgrade it i think Cobb now has 3 port ebcs maps that you can just plug in and flash the map and good to go

Here is a link to the map notes from Cobb
