I prefer HKS. I don't have it, as I am using CUSCO Ti exhaust system, but if I had to choose between Blitz and HKS, HKS would get my $ for sure.

IMHO it's a win-win situation. They're both excellent systems. The Blitz is a bit louder than the HKS though, so it's actually quite loud. A better comparison would be the Blitz Nur-Spec and the HKS Hi-power in stainless steel, when it comes to price. Some folks don't like the material on the C/F Ti.

the blitz is crazy loud. lol. performance is about the same. i was reading the turbo magazine reviews.

who rated the BLitz higher? i've never seen a magazine do that.
HKS is good stuff. i love them. I like bitz too... but the sound plays a big part.

I have the Blitz, a lot of my friends have the HKS. I like both, but choose the Blitz because of the removable baffle. With the baffle it is quieter than the HKS. Without the baffle the sucka is loud! Beyond that tough, look at turbo magazine's web site, they have a dyno shoot out with many different WRX exhausts.

I think the HKS has a removable baffle on its 2nd gen models now (Hi-power as opposed to Hyper). If memory serves me right, Blitz had higher peak hp and HKS had wider torque range.

from sport bike exhaust experiance the carbon fiber is only for looks and covers the outside of the muffler while everything mechanicle inside is the same.
