Using the wonderful tool called the "internet" i have "searched" for and answer to your question. the "information" that i have "found" by "searching" tells me that the blitz lm is just a filter for your car - a very expensive one at that.

The Blitz LM is indeed a short ram intake. It is one of the best available, IMHO, after doing some research. Other notables are the HKS Racing Suction.
I advise against getting a short ram unless you're running 300+ hp, a new turbo, or a FMIC. Too many headaches with CELs and questionable performance. I suggest removing the silencer and installing the Green panel filter.
This subject has been beaten to death, BTW. We even have a sticky for these things now, and it's easy to run searches on the internet nowadays
