B&B downpipe

Got a quick question here. I purchased an b&b downpipe from a guy on ebay, Downpipe looks great except one thing, it is a divorced wastegate design but there is no plate sticking out to seperate the two ports, is there any problems with that? or will I just not benefit from the divorced wastegate port as if it did have the plate?

It will be better than stock...but if your creative add one in. Find a Perrin measure it up and build your own.
