I need to know if there is a lot of clearance between the top of the BOV and the hood when it closes....I am going to be getting a Greddy Type R BOV and mounting it in the stock location, and hte Type R is quite a bit taller than the Type S....so i wnat to make sure i wont have any clearance problems! Also if anyone wants to sell me their Greddy Type S BOV WRX kit, please get in touch with me! As you cna see the Type R (left) is much taller than the Type S (right)....any insight is GREATLY appreciated!

With the type R you'll not have clearance but with the Type s you'll just have a slight rub from the hood nothing to be worried about

 

That doesnt make any sense....the Type S is smaller then the Type R.....how can the smaller one hit (the type S) and the larger one not hit (the type R) ???? Have you seen this done?
