Engine/Power - EJ20T (pre-2006 WRX and JDM) There is replacement for displacement, it is forced induction - OEM 2.0 liter turbo engines in the USDM WRX. 90-94 Legacy Turbo EJ22 turbo engines can also be discussed here.

Yea man its alot better, it pulls harder! I got my car Dynoed at Gruppe S with a Cobb Access Port, downpipe and A Injen CAI. My car made 273whp and 274 torque. Mike at Gruppe S told me that the CAI was making my car run a lil lean and advised me to put my stock airbox and the torque should be around 285.

Yea man, its a stock STI up pipe. STI's have catless Up pipes I was told, so I didnt bother buying one. The base runs were with the Cobb AP not Protuned. Mike told me that if I were to get it tuned with the Injen CAI that it wouldnt make a big difference in Horse power, it would just get rid of the leaning issue that is common with intakes on our cars. I didnt do any base runs without the Cobb AP but I wish I wouldve.

reason I asked was because with the AP protuned, I only gained 10 whp over my base run of just a turboback with no tune. But this was with a regular wrx. Just wanted to see what kinda gains from a non-tuned turboback to a tuned turboback

We're located in Sacramento California. I dont know about a couple of bucks though, cuz it wasnt that easy to do. He had to use a plasma cutter and did some serious welding. I think it was just be easier to get another DP in my opinion. Get a Helix DP, I think they're going for $199. I've read that in this forum or iwsti.com. Thanks for the compliment though. If you need anything else modified, like catch cans, battery tie downs or anything custom. Let me know.

Well thats what Mike @ Gruppe S told me. I have an HKS Downpipe converted to bellmouth, but if I was to do it again I would most likely go with the Helix downpipe
