It's possible on race gas, but not on pump gas. The turbo simply isn't big enough.

Race gas, and yes. I've seen several do it. I also saw an STi make 282 at the wheels- again on race gas, with stock turbo plus a turboback. It has a VF39 which is VERY similar to a VF30/34. No differences externally, so it's probably just a slightly updated wheel.

Do a search on NASIOC,

there was a guy that got a VF34 tuned at Cobb that made just over 300 whp. Wasn't race gas.

Actually, it was 297 whp. It backed up those numbers quite well again a couple of weeks ago at the Dyno Day at ATP.

if ur talking about that one truck driver guy actually he had a PE1820 and pulled 311 on 91 pump at cobb in utah.

the highest ive seen with a 34 is like 280 on pump, 17psi, FMIC, fuel rails and stock injectors

hopefully within a month ill have my 34 on and tuned.
im hoping for 280hp myself. 300 would be nice but not without a FMIC and bigger injectors than the STI inj i will be using or race gas.
