Any downsides to muffler delete?
I was just wondering if there are any adverse effects taking the muffler off can have. I know turbo engines don't like alot of back pressure but will this cause loss in power at all?

Yeah downside is lots of tickets and the like. I am not an expert but I think a 3in exhaust with catless dp is more what you are looking for instead of taking your muffler off. But then you can till get popped. Throw a hi flow cat in there and you would be good, I think

Also in my reading I think you want a little bit of back pressure, I think if you completely elimnate all back pressure that is not optimal
If you delete the muffler and have no cats, you'd better be sure to replace it with a straight pipe that extends out past your bumper itself, because you'll have a lot of fireballs and extreme exhaust heat. I've seen many a fool with a muffler-less Civic who's rear bumper skin is a scorched mess.
