650 and 750 cc/min Injectors

RC Engineering is going to release new injectors for WRX's in the very near future. They will be 650 and 750 cc/min flow rates to compliment the 550's they already sell, and should be under $100 each.

That's welcome news, Russ. I'm glad someone offers an alternative to the expensive STi injectors.

I wish RC Engineering's site listed injectors by application, though.

Expensive STi injectors? They are $385 at S-Squared... which is a little less than $100 each, just like the RCs.

That's a pretty good price - cheaper than the other three local vendors I checked.

RC injectors are porbably better quality, and they flow more on top of that.

What I'll be looking for (eventually) will be a flow-matched injector set, whether they are re-worked WRX, STi, or other injectors.

Ok, but the point remains they are releasing a 750cc injector, which is bigger than what you can currently get. Bigger injector, more boost, good.

i'm aware of that mod... some applications don't require that much fuel, such as pretty much any VF series turbo. it's of my opinion that if someone is going to invest in a turbo large enough to require that much fuel, they really ought to think twice before doing their fuel system on the cheap.

Your post

is about 650 and 750 injectors, but 740s are too big? I have STI injectors, Walbro pump, and engine management on the way. I don't consider that "cheap." But I will sell my injectors and do the mod to save money. With engine management, it's not going to matter anyway. If the "weedhopper" bothered you, lighten up, it wasn't serious.

my RC 550's are more then enought to lay down 376 on shivs dyno. Granted my pressure is higher then normal to compensate a bit. Cant wait for teh 750s to hit.

i didn't take "grasshopper" seriously, but you're telling me to do a search on something i've been reading about since day 1 it was posted on nabisco. this thread was simply to announce that RC Engineering is selling larger injectors. it's actually kind of funny how i even found out about those... i called them to inquire if they could perform the "740" mod and they told me that they do not perform that mod, but are releasing the new size injectors. some people, myself included, do not need these large injectors. so why would i post about them? because there are people out there who need 650 to 750 cc/min of flow, don't want to deal with PE's, and aren't comfortable with trusting their hard earned $$ with the 740 modded injectors.

the setup you're running is not "cheap" by any means, in fact, that's the exact setup i need for my car... how much do you want for your pinks?
