2004 WRX VF-39 Injectors

OK! So my friend has a USDM 2.0T 2004 WRX/ 5 Speed. He installed VF-39 STi turbo, 2004-2007 style STI intercooler shorty downpipe (full exhaust will follow soon) gutted up pipe (for now until he can find one pretty cheap) he is currently running a stock tune with the boost turne up to 16psi (I think it... it might be 18) but he is being easy on it with NO boosting until he can get injectors. our question is..... What size should we go with, I have seen several post about 800cc being to big and others saying they are fine. what should we do. we know the stock injectors are only 440cc and STi Pinks are 565. but that doesn't seem like it would leave much room for future upgrades. what size would be best? and does anyone know where to get a good set pretty cheap?

Thanks

if you want u can just mod the stock injectors, but i'd highly suggest against it. and dont forget ur gonna need a fuel pump. maybe some other guys can chime in and advise you on which injectors.

i ran STi pinks with this exact setup and felt they were perfect for it. i say go bigger injectors when its necessary for that setup.

See everyone says go bigger but How big is too big?? I hear of idle problems with 800cc injectors and i dont want that. but at the same time i want something that will handle some serious power and leave room for upgrades...

i recommend deatschwerks or sti pinks. i have some pinks for sale btw with only 5k miles or less on them.

you can go as big as you want, as long as you can control it with em.

i meant to go bigger when necessary, for this setup, STi pinks are fine and you do not need to go bigger.

depends on how much power you wana make
the STi injectors are all he'll need at his power level/turbo
I would personally go as big as I can incase I want to go bigger
you can spray less fuel with large injectors but not more than what small injectors can put out
