Hey guys
im getting a 100 octane stage 2 track tune on feb 27th (the day before i go to laguna seca!!!!! )

just wondering what kind of power you guys have made.

currently on Ed's 91 tune im making 221hp/220tq.

i am getting the 100 tune with mike at gst though.

in no way am i saying Ed is a bad tuner- for the record.

i say around 240 for peak WHP maybe around there for tq as well.

if i were you i would go to ed i have been tuned by mike hes good but the boost lag is crazy from him and when i wetnt to ed i made 295 awhp with a vf 39 on an 02 wrx i will never go to anyone else but ed go to ed to get the best tune for your car man

 

there's really no way for me to say this without sounding like a dick..and im not trying to be a dick. I'd just like to give mike a shot at tuning my car. Not that ed didn't do a fantastic job. Also it is more convenient for me since mike has a dyno and i am bringing my own 100 octane. (it would be kind of a pita to have gallons of it in the car while im on the road for a road tune). I would also like to see for myself how ed's computer generated hp/tq numbers compared to the dyno.

also, there is always and forever will be the debate of who is the better tuner. id like to make that choice for myself since there will never be a clear answer.
