03 JDM Sti Downpipe in 04 WRX

i am thinking about geting a JDM 03 STi downpipe for my 04 USDM WRX will and fit and am i right in thinking it will kill the cat in the midpipe?


i thouth it heard somewhere that its a bit shorter

You won't be able to use your stock catback or any aftermarket USDM catback with a JDM dp. JDM dp's are shorter and will eliminate one cat as well.

Any muffler shop should be able to weld a extension on it for you, roughly $40. Then it will mate to the remaining parts of your setup with ease.

yes it has only 1 cat. it's still a 2.something inch flat flange downpipe. and it requires modification to be used with a USDM cat back.
