What's out there for my 2.5GT?

As a former Neon owner, there were 3 options for PCMs:
1) Buy the Mopar PCM (ran on 91 octane, gave ~7hp) for $200
2) Buy the AFC PCM (ran on 93 octane, gave 15+hp) for $450
3) Go standalone for a minimumof $1300.

I'm curious as to what's out there for a lite all-motor build. All I keep seeing is what looks like standalone stuff. Can these cars be "chipped", or do they require PCM replacement like my Neon?

There are a couple standalone, plug and play systems.
Link and Hydra Nemesis. Having seen both, I dig the Hydra. It's what I'm currently running. My friend had a Link, but he sold it. It was alright. I love the tunability of my system.

I'm talking about a chip or PCM that will advance the spark timing and give me more agressive fuel maps. Yes, I've got a Legacy 2.5GT.

One cheap and easy way is to use the APEXi SAFC II It will let you alter your stock fuel map but it wont do ignition timing. It is nice because it has a great display and very easy to adjust on the go.

Oh and I am going to put one in my 2.5 GT once I get the AEM EMS all done in my honda.
