what engine management?
i have a sti with a few thing done to it but dont know if i should go i-speed, vishnu, utec, cobb i need help. jon
mod list perrn downpipe, apix exhast, greddy fmic, greddy bov, airnex intake thanks

eh jon i think every one gets upset cause u ask pretty plain questions. maybe u should narrow things down. see what u prefer and aks questions that are relevant. asking what u should do is kinda up to you.

you have several options like you listed... UTEC, Hydra, and Element are all very user adjustable, so if you're a experienced tuner that would be the way to go. if you want something to have tuned for your mods, and leave it alone, go for a EcuTek or Cobb reflash. I don't think the reflashes are available just yet, but they will be in the near future.

it looks like you're in Stockton, Ca. you may want to look up S-Squared in the vendor forums, they're in Sacramento and have EcuTek capabilities and an All Wheel Dyno to tune on.

Wow, that thing is expensive. The 3D fuel plot is tight, however.

Jon, first off, lose your intake and get a K&N or Perrin drop in filter. There are way too many reasons not to mess with the stock intake. Second, for engine management there are a lot of choices coming out. It's all about what you want to accomplish and how much you want to deal with it. A reflash is fine if you think you're going to be comfortable with a set power, look elsewhere though if you plan to keep adding part after part.

I would first loose the intake like punk said.........

If ur in the bay area i would say a Vishnu Installed and TUNED Xede unit kicks ***.....

I would take advantage that u live close to one of the best tuners in the country.

BTW R u goin to the STI -EVO shootout on the 8th????

I think u may of run across my brother in his EVO the other day.......

i cant take the intake off due to the fmic so yeah that suck. and vishnu always dicks to me i would never step foot in that place i called monday talked to me like im s***. so yeah vishnu is out and they NEVER NEVER return phone calls.

Cobb is great if you would like to wait for their AccessPORT for the Sti. In the future (I think May) they will be releasing their AccessTUNER that will benefit you more with those mods.
