I have an 03 wrx with a bosal uppipe, stromung downpipe with the stock third cat and a bosal catback.

Does anyone know if a shorty style downpipe that utilizes the stock third cat is compliant with the cobb stage 2 mapping, specifically the stage 2 ca. map?

From what I understand, a downpipe is the minimum for a stage 2. But email Cobb to be sure.

 

^^^ werd. I'm running cali stage 2 map with a full tbe with uppipe. My dp has a high flow cat and things have been running fine since my install about a year ago. Make sure you use the cali specific maps too, as they will help guard against pinging. If you are still worried about this I would definately call cobb, they are helpful guys.

I am running with an ERZ uppipe, Stromung 3" shorty divorced waste gate downpipe, stock 3rd cat,2.5" stromung dual tip cat-back.
91 octane CA pump gas on the Cobb Stage 2 Cali 91 base map.
its been running fine for me, I hit ~17PSI of boost and am running good on MY04 wagon.
