Torque Limitter in ECU?
I've never used a forum before so let me know if i screw up here. I have a 92 SVX engine in my airplane. I'm up and flyying but I have never gotten the power out of the engine I should. It seems to be stuck at 3600 RPM full throttle. I had to fake several sensors to make it work in an airplane. For instance the speed sensor is using the tach signal, so the ecu thinks the car is going 150 mph. I also have jumpered the park and nuetral inputs so it thinks the car is in gear. My question is could there be something in the computer that limits the power/torque if some input perameter is not right? I have a select monitor and get no error codes.
