Stock Altenator

I maybe talking about the wrong part, but has anyone heard of changing the altenator in the car to make more electrical power. Basically more amps!

Sure, you can use a STi alternator, which will bump you up to 90 amps (as opposed to the stock WRX alternator's 75 amp output). Just out of curiosity, though, why would you want to do this? What are you powering in your car that would need more amperage? Are you running down the battery?

It is just the power drain from the AC and things like that. Even if I try to roll up both windows at the sametime it seems to struggle. Plus the amp and new speakers that I am gonna put in later.
