spt intake cobb ap stage 2

i have the avo catted dp
spt intake
hks high power cat back
accesport stage 2 map for 93 octane
running it in a 06 wrx 2.5l

the question is should i be running my stock air box or leave the spt on, cause when i first got it all together, there was no mention about runnig with the stock box, now there is.
boost creep happens below 30 degrees 5th gear or 4th on highway if you punch it. other then that no problems runs great, but the cold temps suck up fuel like crazy. should i get a newer map map from cobb, i have one of the first versions of the accesport version 2 1.01.10 something like that.

yes, just run the stock airbox. you do not need a cai unless you are running a much larget turbo set up. also, i had a spt intake and it was leaking around the maf sensor. you can pick up a stock intake pretty cheap on ebay or someplace like that.

Lots of people put on intakes without being tuned and claim more HP and no problems.... but personally I would rather have it custom tuned. Every tuner that I have talked to says not to put on an intake without having been tuned for it. I take thier advice rather than random annonymous internet posters...

...yes, I understand the irony of this statement, as I am behind the keyboard, just take my statement FWIW

the thing about the spt is the diameter retains the stock characteristic.
i understand it can flow better plus you can here the recirculator valve.
but how different is it then the stock intake, becasue i heard the stock box is good upto 400hp. so that in mind how much of a difference is the spt?
