S Afc Ii
Doesn't it allow for timing control through an optional harness (around $40)?
From the Greddy website:
If the "Optional Ignition Harrness" and the software is
used the unit has the ability to control a 16x16 Ignition
Timing Map.
I don't believe that the AFC-II offers timing control (correct me if I'm wrong so I can make up my mind about which to get).
And to my knowledge neither the AFC-II nor the e-manage offers knock control (again, correct me if I'm wrong so I can make up my mind).
And if I understand correctly you can do basic injector controlling (+/-20% vs the +/-50% the AFC can do) without the additional injector harness. It looks like you could also upgrade the injectors without the harness, too. I'm not sure what sort of range you could adjust for with the harness. Anyone????

I thought we were talking about the afc, which has no timing control capability. The afc ver.II has a knock readout but in no way controls it. Nice to see though... The afc works good for me so far but a trip to the dyno will tell for sure. Soon...

can any one give a base to start from on a wrx (03) with the safcII. please any info will help. like the in,out numbers what % ect. if some one would share there info with us i beat it would help us out. i beat there is some one like me that did all the wiring and hook it up to see if it works and then un hooked it, scared that they will do something wrong. come on guys help us tune the safc2
I was told to put my settings ay 12in 12out then 1in 1out
the car is a hotwir and 4cylinder w/ the arrox pointing slanted up. I haven't had my car tuned yet. With those basic settings you can atleast monitor the car. I was also told by a few guys that the wrx runs very rich stock. Even w/ no cats and an exhaust it still runs rich.(coorect me if I am wrong) I gave my car more fuel in the beginning, but now I have turned everything back to zero corections. So if you agree with me let me no and if you disagree please tell me more.

THE GUY THAT I BROUGHT MONE FROM TOLD ME O IN AND 2 OUT THEN 0-0 BUT YOU CAN NOT EVEN PUT O ON THE NEXT SCREEN. WHERE DID YOU GET THE 12 AND 12. DOES IT RUN RIGHT.
