Resetting ecu???
ive recently have stumbeled on this trick of resetting your ecu by
taking the negatives off of the battery and a lot of other stuff....i dont really remember.......my question is it safe to do that, i mean it seems too good to true....will it effect the car later ?And if really is proven to be safe would it matter if i have a ebc to try this method out ....anyways gladly appreciate the help!

my ecu reset by just taking off the neg of the battery and
sitting for about 45min. i did step on the brake after pulling
the power off just to be sure.
i installed a steering wheel so didnt want the factory SRS
to deploy.
ecu reset = dont do it unless its necessary. its a pita to
get it to adapt to your driving again....about 500miles for
complete recovery.
