power chip for 02 rex
Ecutek is not a chip, its actually better then a chip. It's a reflash of your ECU, so all the stock safeguards are still in place, but a more agressive map is put onto your ECU. Look for a reputable tuner near by if you want an Ecutek reflash.
AccessPort is also popular. It allows you to reflash your ecu yourself. That is actually a little tough to do on your own, but it is possible. Plenty of off the shelf maps are also available. Cobb, maker of AccessPort, also has reflashed ecu's available. Just take yours out, and plug the new one in. A custom tuned reflash is better, but for just a little extra power, they are pretty good.
There are also other solutions available, like unichip and utec. They are user tunable as well. I don't know much about them, so I won't comment. Do a search and you should find plenty of information.
