Pocket PC software?
Ive pretty much outgrown my Jornada 548 Pocket PC, and Id like to still use it, only for the car this time. I payed 600 bucks fro this thing a couple of years ago and Id hate to see it go to waste.
I was thinking about mounting it as sort of like a monitor (integrated in the dash, with a sideways view) for things such as onboard diagnostics and stats etc...
Ive been searching on the web for some time now, and I cant seem to find a product thats decently priced, and CLEARLY defined. Meaning theres too much babble on things such as "connection 34234#hdin, to module number blah blah)
I just want to Hook something up to the OBD II connector, run the software on my Pocket PC, and get a nice "stats" screen...)
I found some site with a free zip download
http://www.geocities.com/a_ser_files/
with a cool interface...looks like this:
But it says I need to purchase an interface from scantool.net...
Visited scantool.net, and can seem to sort through all the hazy posts...
Can someone reccomend??
Thanks so much
Costas

I figured it out...
Really simple stuff, and im gonna order today...
Its using Scantool.nets interface, and the combo software I posted above on the link, heres how it would break down.
This set up would let you use your laptop too...!
