Never heard of anyone using this piggyback unit on a Subaru engine. Do they make a plug-and-play wiring harness? If not you'll have to splice it into your existing ECU before someone can tune it for you.

You haven't filled out the Car field in your member Profile, but I'd consider other existing forms of engine management such as an EcuTek reflash, Cobb AccessPORT, or a Vishnu XEDE (piggyback). The latter two can hold more than one tuning map for things like a race gas tune.

I'm looking into running the smt7 on my 2000 2.5rs that Im puting together a turbo system for.
I know even less about engine manigment than I do turbo systems so its a bit of the typical noob questions.
My friend matt is running the smt6 on his supercharged stratus.
He told me that it is a piggy back so you will have to splice into your harness.
He also told me that the beauty of this system is It takes into account and adjusts for atmospheric conditions.... I thought all after market systems would do that, eather piggy back or stand alone?
He seems pleased with his.. Ill ask him a little more about it.
The company told me that there are a fiew turbo 2.5's with MAP sensors out there running there smt6 just fine.
