I'm assuming this is for a WRX? If so, I will take pics of it for you. I'm at work right now. FYI, there are two places for it. One place, the easiest one, is located under the alternator. If you pop your hood and look under you alternator, you will see the oil idiot sensor. What I did was run a steel braided line for that point and reattached the idiot sensor with a "T" fitting and attached the sending unit to it. Do not place it where mine is placed. Mine was done from a shop and was mounted in the strangest place. If you get a long enough braided line, you can remote mount it anywhere in the engine bay. DO NOT use that nylon tube that may have came with it. Only use a steel braided line. Trust me, the nylon tube will become briddle and break on you. The second one is back behind the intake manifold. I will post back once you tell me if this is for a WRX.

If you mean the sending unit and not the sensor, I attached the sending unit to the bracket that is just infront of the security horn, next ot the strut tower. The electrical wiring then goes back through the grommet that is pretty much right behind and below where I mount the unit, on the firewall. As for the sensor itself, I put that into the portal on top of the block that is right below the throttle assembly. I believe there's a write-up on ScoobyMods.com about placing the sensor there.

do you have any pics of how you mounted it on the firewall? I need to relocate mine to another area and just wanted to see how you did yours.
