o2 sensor??

I was telling a fried that i am going to buy a catless exhaust section and he suggested getting a "tunible" 02 sensor. He said that you can dile in your proformance by tricking the computer into mixing a little stiffer... Every thing i have seen on the subaru states that the computer learns around most devices like that. I was wondering if this device actully works, and if so where would I find one? If it doesent work/or exsist should i just go for a boch sensor or is there a brand that is better than that?

I would not bother with such "devices". Just get your car tuned after your put on whatever mods you got.

The type of device you're talking about is called a piggy back because in essence, it piggy backs the stock ECU by modifying the sensors signals it sees to trick it into doing something else (such as leaning out the a/f). Such devices generally exhibit a lot of quirks, hesitations, and can also cause damage in the end. A propper tune via reflash performed by a good tuner is by far the best way to go.

Thanks
