n2o question
ok there are tons of these questions all over here I am sure but I am gona ask again.
I was thinking of running nitrous on my o2 wrx.
If i do which kit should i get?
Nos
nx
zex
other company
thne should I go wiht wet or dry? What is the difference? I want to know?
Purge kits. that is where you see nitrous spray out of a car and it's cleaning the lines or somehting like that if I am correct?
i am a newbie to nitrous so y'all post all i need to know about it. I am not going to rush out and buy a bottle of n2o just to look like something out of the movie lol. I am doing my reasearch on it before i buy it.

For starters, you want a wet kit. There is no substitute for a turbo car.
A purge kit is really only for the die hard racer where every hundreth counts.
A bottle warmer is essential.
Other then that, a 50-75 shot is very reliable. A 150HP shot works as well for about 4 runs
as per STEALTH-WRX
Guaranteed a 12 sec run!
Brand is up to you.. But I prefer either NOS, or Zex.

I would suggest one heat range colder plugs, non-platinum. Definetly a wet kit, and a fuel pump would be nice but not totally necessary. Your also going to need some way to control boost, when you spray you need to turn the boost down because it will rise on the N2O. Also if you don't already have a uppipe get one, downpipe wouldn't hurt either. Not sure about the ZEX kits but if you go with NOS the "soft plume nozzle" is a good upgrade for a WRX.
Purge kit is not necessary.
Enjoy

Well I bought a Zex wet kit today. One reason I chose zex is becasue there local. Anyway i got the wet kit so me and a friend are going to install it this weekend.
A boost controller would be a good idea to get you say. Thats good casue I was just about to buy one.
I bought an uppipe and am trying to find the downpipe for a decent price. So that will be installed in the next few weeks I figure.
When i upgrade my fuel pump what is a good one to get any sugestions?

On a side note, some people will say you don't need the pump but I figure it's only $90 and easy to install so why not. Plus in the future if you upgrade the turbo, which after feeling to 50 shot you will definetly want to, you will already have the pump installed.
The pump is located in the trunk, I removed the back seats to access it easier. Pretty easy install.
Check out www.quantum-racing.com
They have a good right up with pics on the install.
