its wierd, i think the older generation of subie enthusists will remeber the old supercharger vs turbo debate. that was when having forced induction on your subaru was accompanied with oooos and ahhhhs. its seems the next generation of ultimate argument is link vs. utek. just a wierd musing that i had when i saw this post. the simularities are totally there tho, each side has its proponents; pros and cons; and ppl that think its just a matter of your personal needs.

sorry kscoby, didn't mean to digress on your thread with my out loud thinking but from what i've heard christof is echoing what i've seen around the boards. i'm actually gonna try my hand at link tuning(my laptop docking station broke and it has the serial port) when i get a piece for my laptop and it should be quite the learning experience since i've never done any ecu tuning before. i've run the program on my laptop tho, and the windows interface seems friendly enough, but i'm gonna procede slowly and probably with alot of help from this board. follow my progress(or lack there of) and if i seem to be sucessful then anyone can do it. hope that helps your decision.

i now live in maine and go to school in bangor and i bumpted into a subie enthusist here. this dude Caleb who said he knew you guys thru his buddy Jon(try and follow my wierd kavon bacon-esque rambling here) who is getting link help for his rally sube, Last Ditch Racing from you guys. wierd huh?
