link management w/ boost control
i was wondering if i am run a link on a swap ej20t in a RS
do i need a boost controller.
what i mean is if i have the link management do i need a boost controller, to rasie up the boost do i do it on the link or do i need a sperate boost control.
can i run a link management with a apexi AVC-r or a blitz sbc
i hope this makes sense
thanks

but if i play with the boost out of the link, does it mess up the setting, or let say the timing curve and stuff.
for example if i am running a consisting 17 psi and turn it up to 20psi with the blitz boost controller, does it mess up the mapping or anything.
thanks

I'm not to familiar with ECUs so I don't want to give u any false information but I know I don't have any problems. And just some words of advice if your running on stock internals then u shouldn't be running 20psi. You said your running 17psi now, you shouldn't go past that on stock inernals..

While your timing should be less for a given RPM with a greater MAP value, you shouldnt have to worry if you tune for both settings.
Since 17 and 20 psi use different areas of the map you can effectlively tune for both. My econ map vs my power map are very subtle changes. But since econ and power are in two very different areas of the map, they really dont effect each other.
I try to econ the areas around 3k for low boost values. The only real difference is I try to force myself to stay into econ by keeping the wastegate open all the time with the econ map.
