It reads in some ridiculous metric unit that has nothing to do with reality. I think you're wanting to see .11 whatever-they-are of peak boost.

I don't know if this is what you're asking, but:

lbs of boost = mPa * 145.0376

For example, .10 mPa * 145.0376 = ~14.5 lbs of boost.

Boost seems a bit high. Is it a TurboXS unichip that's in your car? How many miles on the car and how long has it been running that boost?

Factory electronics limit boost to 17psi, so the only way you could get more than 17psi is if the Unichip is altering the signals. It may be OK if the unichip is tuned to work at that boost level. I think the stock turbo would not be running too efficiently.

Another important thing is to see if the ehxaust is stock or modded. Having a large catless downpipe would help reduce some of the thermal loading by reducing post-turbo back pressure.

Anyway, the short answer is: I dont know if it is safe to run 17.4 psi boost on you car. It all depends on the tuning and other mods.

Anyone else?

If it looks like it had a bigger turbo and IC, then the Unichip is likely tuned for those. My advice to you is to turn the boost down to stock level (14.5-15psi) and get some more info about the TXS parts that are still on it.

Try to reconnect the factory boost controller.
