Hacked CAI

Reading the forums a couple months ago i ran into all the threads about cold air intakes. I had already installed some crappy Cold air intake on my subaru and had thrown away the stock plastic mess that i mangled out of the car. I read that it was mostly the bend in the induction pipe at the maf that leaned out the car. So today i took off the CAI and took a hack saw to it and made it into a ram air intake with no bend at the maf so that it would fix the problem. I just wanted to see if anyone else had done this and how it worked out for them. Here is a picture of my new custom intake system.
