Dumb question

I want to buy an inexpensive inline fuel pressure tester. Essentially, since I've tried out the latest mod of making my stock injectors into 740cc's, I've got some qualms about my fuel pressure.

The question is, do I just buy a generic pressure gauge (that will accurately measure up to at least 53psi) with a tit, some hose and a T?

Everytime I call a NAPA or a checkers, they think I'm looking for some crazy APC crap to mount inside my car.
