Diagnostic Connector ???

Do you guys know by any chance if our diagnostic connector for any subie after 1996 is equipped with the ISO14230 diagnostics connector??Did a goggle search and not useful, and check scoobymods.com & NASIOC.com but no luck..

Majority of post-96 cars use ISO 9141-2 diag connector.

I did some more research and some sites stated that"MY2004 subaru are CANed" in accordance to www.etool.org but my older brother and even his friends told me tha my MY2004 iimpreza is Iso-9141-2. So is that just Pin 2??Also I remember one of my brothers friends telling something about j1962 connector..Is that the obd port where the obd 2 scanner plugs into??
