i read somewhere that the imprezas ecu comes programmed to control how fast the engine accelerates through the crank position sensor. is this true? it makes sense to me because i was looking at acceleration figures for a 2.5 rs and they seemed a little slow(0-60 in 8; road and track) for the power and grip. is there any modification to delete this without getting a completely reprogrammed ecu.
