Which one is better/safer/less expensive?

i recommend TurboXS, more options, better product, very little complaints, free updates, no cutting or splicing into the old ECU, map selections, and easily updatable, let alone you can tweak it for every last little thing you do you your car, and even make your own maps if so choose, if you are familar with programming

I have the Cobb Stage 2 reflash. I recommend that with other upgrades. I don't want to do any of my own tuning. I think it's probably the cheapest and most reliable way to go.

TXS has base maps available on thier site. Other than that, the folks over on the wrxhackers.com forums are pretty good about providing maps, utilities, and advice (the TXS guys even post there, as well).
