cobb stage 2 question

Question cobb stage 2 question

with the cobb stage 2 map they say i need a downpipe but is that a 3 inch down pipe or can i go with a hi flow 2.5" custom downpipe?

If I were you, I would go with Accessport so you dont have to send your ecu in (assumeing you dont live by an authorised Cobb tuneing shop). Here is the link to Cobb http://cobbtuning.com/wrx/. Check out what the Accessport has to offer but be prepaired to wait.

Stage 2 was set up for a 3" downpipe with a bellmouth design but Im not sure if the downpipe your talking about will cause a problem. You may want to ask that question here: http://www.wrxforum.com/cgi-bin/ulti...cgi?category=4. Does the downpipe you are talking about have a divorced wastegate or bellmouth design?

I orderd mine almost 2 months ago and it should be in tomorrow. You may have more luck calling someone on Cobb's vendor list. I called Aerosim.
