Cobb AP V2?

I will be running Cobb AP V2. with my current mods: Helix UP,DP, 3" ERZ exhaust, and intake. How much power can I expect with a Tune? I believe i will be running a stage 1 with tune.

stage 1 with tune?

if you were to run a cobb OTS map you'd wanna run stage 2 with those mods. depending on the MY of your car, i'm going to guess you'll be somewhere around 230-240 at the wheels, torque will depend on if you're running a 2.0 or 2.5 litre.

Unless you plan on a dyno tune or Cobb has a map for your intake I'd ditch the intake. I also had an intake on my car but ended up removing it after doing some research. Still sitting on the shelf until I dyno tune the car.

I will be getting my car tuned at gst motorsports. I said stage 1 because I heard I should start off with that, but I know with my mods I should go stage 2. Stupid question, but stage 2 is programmed into the cobb v2 already, correct? So the tuner would know to match it with my mods? My car is a 02 wrx by the way.thanks for the help guys!

When the tuner gets your car he'll know what to do.

What kind of an intake are you running? According to what I've read some intakes are harder to tune with so depending on what you have it may take your tuner longer to dial in your car because of the intake. I'm pretty sure the off the shelf stage 2 map will be on the AP but you will want to run the cali stage 2 map which can be downloaded off of Cobb's site.

Here's a link that will help you prepare your car before the tune (page 6) http://www.projectwrx.com/caringforyourvehicle.pdf . You don't want to show up with a car that has a mechanical issue when you're on the dyno.

edit

Are you buying the AP and then going to get it tuned later or are you buying it from the tuner and having it dyno tuned right away?

I'm getting it done same day with my purchase. I was researching and found the only intake that would work is cobb. I have an APEXI intake and hopefully it doesn't cause any issues. I may just remove it and put the stock one on before taking my car to the shop.

Are you just having GST flash an off the shelf map or are they doing a custom tune on the dyno? If you're just having them flash an off the shelf map how much are they charging you?
