Cobb AP power gains
been thinking about buying a cobb accessport for my 05 wrx, current mods are:
helix up/downpipe
helix catback
perrin inlet pipe
i know to get optimal results i would need a protune but if i were to run one of the preset maps about how much in gains could i expect to get?
edit: anyone know a good tuner down around irvine that has experience with the AP?

If you plan on starting off with an off the shelf map you might want to call and ask Cobb if your inlet pipe will cause problems with a stage 2 reflash.
Cobb claims 224WHP with a stage 2 reflash.

BTW I've been running stage 2 for around 80K and I've been very happy with it. Good reliable power IMO.

If you run 91 octane with the 93 octane map your car will run like poo.

I've seen the Stage 1 91 maps and the Stage 1 Cali 91 maps. If you use lower quality gas in California, then the cali specific map is for you. I think you should be fine as long as you fill up with 76, Texaco or Mobil. Also, Costco gas is pretty darn good and I hear they're really good about changing their filters so the fuel is really clean. 2 fill'ups so far on Stage 1 and nothing but glee.

the cobb AP stage 2, claim to get 224whp, and 271W torque, and thats ALOT of torque, and the cobb AP can also read CEL so its really good thing to get.
