Im tiring to marry my ACCESSPort to my 2004WRX that i purchased used (was unstalled from previous 04 wrx ), but it is only displaying me the two realtime maps that the previous owner uploaded... instend of the preloaded base maps?....

I connected the green test plugs and the initiatization plug...didnt get any CEL flashing or nothing... i checked the passenger side's test plugs and they were plugged in too...

 

was the AP actually un-married from the other car?

You see, the AP isn't into the whole bigamy thing - It will not marry unless unmarried (divorced) from the first entity.

Seriously, I do not know if there is a way around resetting the AP to an un-married state, without doing it the proper (designed) way.

If you do find a way, there will be plenty of let-me-borrow-your-AP going on....

 

FIXED it.... i have a 2004WRX and the ACCESSPort was update with the 2005WRX Program... i just followed the steps to reconfigurating back to 2004 from COBBtuning.com

 

Give it some alcohal. It always works for me.
